The SSRC’s Fiscal Sponsorship program provides an institutional home for innovative initiatives that create new knowledge, translate knowledge into impact, and broaden opportunity.

Through our Fiscal Sponsorship program, individuals, teams, and projects gain access to the SSRC’s 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status, our efficient and responsive financial and administrative systems and personnel, our deep expertise in grant and contract management, and our extensive relationships with philanthropic and public funders.

Fiscal sponsorship through the SSRC enables projects to receive tax-exempt gifts, grants, and contracts only available to entities with 501(c)(3) status, without incurring the financial and administrative burdens involved in securing and maintaining that status.

For over 100 years the SSRC has supported research-led innovation. Our Fiscal Sponsorship program enables us to continue to support creative and original initiatives that advance knowledge and impact.
